THE ART OF SEA

The Art of the Sea was an ethereal exhibit of visual art on display in the heart of New York City at the Quin Hotel at Quin Arts. Artists featured were Michael Dweck, Dan Balilty, Adam Guy, Delphine Diallo, Anne Menke, Ruvan Wijesooriya and Michael Didonna displaying a range of mediums, including a 13-screen video installation by Dan Balilty. “The show evolved for my love of the water, its movement, color, and all the ebbs and flow that make you fight to get back out. The purpose of The Art of the Sea was to bring the beauty of water into a space where people could experience tranquility, even if it’s for a second.” Aside from this show, it also helped raise awareness about global warming by partnering with Surf Rider Foundation, and a portion of the sales were donated to the Foundation. Philanthropic guests included charitable Fashion Designer Donna Karen and Gabrielle Francis of the Herban Alchemist and the director of Sotheby’s Christine Kuan.
