PRECIOUS MOMENTS
RUVAN WIJESORRIYA
MONTAUK, New York | 2022
Montauk Beach House had its first solo exhibition with noted internationally acclaimed photographer Ruvan Wijesorriya debuting selected works from his ongoing exploration of Precious moments and time. Precious investigates different series of works from the artist's past, and present, and includes a highlighted work titled “Precious,” from his newer series. Torn prints of immortal scenes while shot in the Yucatan makes one conceptual picture, while other works are fun-loving shots from flashes captured while in Sweden and New York. Ruvans' clever way to deal with getting tone, light, and nature addresses a strong improved perception in this group of work.
